Trusting God? Do Good? You Serious?

Psalms 37:3

Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

TRUST GOD & DO GOOD? What is the value in that and can it even be done?

Many say trusting God is easy and that is not true for me at times. In fact it is hard for many. We struggle with us trying to control our own future and struggle with telling God how things need to go. Our prayer life is a monolog not a conversation. Our anxiety of not knowing how things are going to played out. Not knowing what God is going to do or even if he is listening. This sound familiar?

See the thing with this verse it says to trust and do good. When we put our faith and trust in God at the time of our conversion we may of even said God I will do what ever you need me to do and from that time we may have even took some of our trust out of his hands because we think we need to either help God out or we are not seeing thing being done fast enough.

Now when we put our trust in God we need to understand this is an action because the Psalmist says do good. This is not saving you by being good but by putting your trust in what was done on the cross. When we put that trust in God we then have a desire to please him and we then do good part has a representation of the trust we have in God.

The do good is telling all that God has our back and our front. Trust and faith is blind. and we put those in Gods hands and it will show many where our heart is and how God works in our life.

When we trust God we have a desire to follow his will even when it is tough. However you at one time trusted God and as time as gone on and maybe you are tired or not patient but my brother & sister GO! Go do you first works over and give God control he sees so much more than we do.

God knows what will happen before you do and he knows what work he has planned. TRUST in the Lord and honor our Lord, be a blessing to others, allow blessing to come into your life and let God be the God in your life so great that your house will not be able to hold the blessing that he is wanting to give you.

Mat 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
